Rhoddie Garden Hike

My homeschool group went to the Rhoddie gardens in Portland for something fun to do today. It had been a bit rainy, but managed to take a break so we could enjoy the park without the use of umbrella's and such rain gear!

I loved these little pink flowers that I found along our trail. It was many little blooms for one flower and they seemed to get a bit tired, but they were a gorgeous color of pink.

One of the many gorgeous water ways in the gardens.

The kids pointing out all the ducks that were to be seen. We ended up later having our lunch at this spot.

Kaleb standing on a log over the water. The ducks were being fed from this spot.

This was our little group that went.

We managed to stay dry and have fun!

Nice looking bunch of home-schooled kids, and pretty cute teachers, too! I'm glad it wasn't raining too hard so to spoil the outing. What a beautiful park! Even though the weather was poor Kaleb's still wearing shorts . . . because it's just about summer, right!
