Kaleb and Doug just got back from Nanitch Lodge at Mt. Hood and they had a good time. They just went up for one night and that was all that they needed. This was the first "official" overnighter that Kaleb did with this troop being a boy scout!

They took a break the night that they were there and played some cards and risk. Doug had said that it was good to see Kaleb just jump in and be with the other boys.One hard thing about this campout was the 1/4 mile hike up to get to the lodge. The first bit of it was a rope to help you with the REALLY steep part!
I'm sure that they will BOTH go again!

Nothing better than being with a bunch of his peers . . . especially as a Boy Scout! What fun! I hope he was able to turn around to see where he was going as he slid down the hill!
