We had our Pinewood Derby today and Kaleb had been sick but he had put so much work into his car (or his bus as we were all calling it) that if he was feeling any way normal that we would go ... and he was.
Doug for the 3rd year was the "puller" for the car race...

Here he is... Kaleb got 3 first places... Open race, Pack overall and Webelo Den. He did great, just wish he wouldn't of been sick. He can now race at our reginal meet in April.

Wow! Three First Place ribbons ought to perk him up. Way to go Kaleb, hope your feeling better real soon.
Its important to note that Kaleb painted and decorated the car himself, not daddy help. He asked a friend of the family to help him cut it out in his shop (so he had to learn to speak up) so that part was 'adult made'. But, he did all else so daddy (me) put the wheels on so they were straight.
