9th Grade Planning

This summer has been one of those that I’ve thought too much about what curriculum and subjects that Kaleb wants and needs to do for the start of his high school career. So, one day a couple of weeks ago I wrote it all out. Boy did that help me immensely!!
So, here is the list so far. List to change without notice

Language Arts: Reading books that are in the era of where we are in history. Also, the next level of Writing Strands which will help him in his writing.

History: Ancient History with the book Mystery of History and the DVD series Drive Thru History.

Math: Saxon Math Algebra 1. He seems to like the way the lessons flow. We tried computer school but it doesn’t work for him.

Science: Biology with our teen co-op.

Foreign Language: He’d like to take Hebrew so we are trying to figure out how to make that a reality for him.

PE: With other teens at our co-op.

Guitar Lessons

He is taking three classes through his co-op: Biology, a study hall time, and PE. But, we don’t start school until the 16th of September when his co-op officially starts.

So, here it is. 2013-2014 for this “class” of 2017
