Indoor Soccer...

K is playing indoor soccer this year for the 4th season (the other 3 were outdoor). He loves to mainly play forward but will on occasion want to play goalie.

Tonight was our second game of the season. Our first game we won 3 to 0. And this one was a little tuffer. We were tied 1-1, about were half time would be (it's a group of 1st and Kindies) and then they snuck by us with another goal. Oh well. Then we surprised them with a goal to tie it up again 2 to 2. And K was the goal that tied it up! The second half of the game he seemed to finally get his head (and feet) in the game and came close with 2 other goals. But atleast he tied it up for them so that it wouldn't have been a loss.

He was so excited!! His last team that he was in he had got quite a few goals (usually 1 a game) so he was excited to finally shoot a goal.

What a soccer boy we have!! I wonder if he'll like any other sports?? We'll just have to see.

Way to go K! I know exactly what you mean by getting his head together with his feet! That's what we noticed when C was playing basketball . . . he'd dribble standing in place, then run a few steps holding onto the ball, then stop to dribble a bit . . . too funny!
