Just wanted to post some pictures of our new pet Evie... She is a hedgehog and she's just 11 weeks old. We've wanted a "hedgie" for a while and we were finally ready at the same time that we had found one at a exotic pet fair. We looked everywhere for a hedgie and finally, after talking to a lot of people found one. We got her on Monday afternoon. She is still skidish, trying to get use to us at the same time that we are trying to get use to her. You would think that we had gotten a cat with what she eats :)
The big picture is Kaleb feeding her tonight with a carrot chip with wet cat food on the end. The top small is her, the middle one is when we had made a noise and she went into defense mode, and the bottom is her asleep under her food bowl.
She's a little cutie and we can't wait for her to get use to us...

I've never heard of having a Hedge Hog as a pet. Evie is pretty darn cute. Now I've got to Google to find out more about them. What a great addition to your family, congratulations!
